Pumpkin Carving tradition continues...

Our annual pumpkin carving party was a success!  Fun, food, cider, bobbing, Charlie Brown, sword fights,  creative creations, tears, laughs, prizes and treats!  In between the carving and eating the kids had a ball (if they weren't trying to kill each other)!  Prizes went to the most creative, scariest and most classic pumpkin!  

Santa Claus is coming to town! We hope!

The following conversation occurred between Charlie and Kathleen.


Charlie (out of the blue): For christmas I want- a spider man toy, an iron man toy, a volcano, batman castle and batman cave.
Kathleen: wow, thats alot for santa to bring.  Do you think he can bring all that.
Charlie: Yes!  He has a HUGE sack.
Kathleen: Yes  but he only birngs things to really good boys and girls.  Are  you going to be good.
Charlie: I m only going to be good on Christmas Eve!
Kathleen: Really,  You need to be good all the time.
Charlie:  Im only going to be good on Christmas Eve and snowy days!


Tonight was not a snowy day or Christmas Eve and I had one bad little boy on my hands.  It could be a long winter!!

Off to the races!!

Beautiful fall day at the races.  Each year the kids get older, events such as this seem to get a little easier!  Another reason to say no to #3.  Did I mention that this has been on my mind?  3...to be or not to be.  All the signs are pointing to...not to be for me!  We will see.

You know those Mastercard commercials... 10 dollars for a leotard, 5 dollars for tights and ballet shoes, 1 day off work.  Taking your daughter to her first ballet class....PRICELESS!
