Team Edward

Today, Eclipse is released in theaters.  Yes, I can't wait.

Swim Lessons

Charlie is building his confidence in the pool,
while Mary Kate is completely fearless.
Heading to Ohio to spend some time with my sister Kelly in the hospital.  She had major colon surgery and suffered complications with a cut ureter.  Her recovery will now take longer.  I am going to take some shifts keeping her company.

A fly on our wall

So if you were a fly on our wall today... you would have seen

coffee at 6am
two year old watching Peter Pan
Pee on the floor twice
uneaten cereal from breakfast
laundry that has not been put away
a broken vacuum (darn Bissell) and those of you who know me, know that is just downright awful
A party in the bathroom (I think I am party training not potty training) PS- I quit!! So does Mary Kate!!
a dusty walk to the mailbox (cough, cough, spit)
one bed turned into a pirate ship with a hand-painted flag by Captain Hook himself
several fights and pushes
one completed hundreds board and pic pac tack board (go here to order) they are great!
a shower and shave (believe it or not)
peanut butter in a bowl for lunch
Gluten-free pizza for mama
one UPS drop off from BabyJay (the best little white clothes in the world)
2 sleeping babes for nap

Shooo-weeee

Is it 5 O'Clock yet, it is somewhere...right?

8 YEARS LATER

Nicholas and Kristy McCracken were married on June 22, 2002 at Katoctin Church and partied down at Stoneliegh Golf Club...

8 years later...

we have 2 beautiful children
we still argue about laundry
I still don't eat fish
he still doesn't eat raisins
he still hides behind doors and scares me
I still dance nerdy for him when we are alone
I still leave cabinet doors open
he still loves camels
he still gives me 11 second hugs
I still think he is hot
we still tell each other "I love you" everyday

Not bad for 8 years, ups, downs, all around happy with our life together!  If I had to do it all over again, I would pick the same man a hundred times over!

Is this the day?

If I had a nickel for every time I heard Charlie say,

Is this the day you don't have to go to work?

Is this the day summer is here?

Is this the day we go to Nana's?

I would be one rich mama.

We are on countdown to the end of the school year and our trip to Nana's (on an airplane).  Charlie not only decided to X out the days but he wanted to put an X on his hand.

He told me, "It is a love X for Nana, Mommy"
We have one loved Nana!
PS Nana- Charlie wanted to show you his watch!
