It has been a lovely and relaxing holiday. Ready to return to a more structured day. I crave structure in my life. I started reading the first book of the Twilight series (thanks to a wonderful regift exchange from Nicole...more about that awesome idea later) and I am feeling like I could actually get into it. Charlie is spending some special one-on-one time with his Mimi today and a little overnight. My MIL loves these grandchildren more than anything. She apologized for not taking Mary Kate this time but she wanted to hang with just Charlie boy. She said that she gets to know them more one-on-one. It is so true and I can certainly take that wisdom and love and put it toward my own life. One of my many goals this year is to spend more one-on-one time with my kids.
